New in the PACE Drive app: the “Search Along the Route” function
With the new Search Along the Route function in the PACE Drive app, you can easily find gas stations along your planned route that allow mobile payment directly at the pump. This allows you to plan your fuel stops even more efficiently without having to search for a suitable filling station.
How to use the “Search Along the Route” function
1. Define your destination
Before you can find a gas station along your route, you need to specify a destination. There are now two ways to do this in the PACE Drive app (iOS | Android):
- Directly on the map: Press and hold the desired destination until a marker appears.
- Via the search function: Enter the name or address of the destination in the search bar and select the route button next to the desired gas station.
2. Show gas stations on the route
As soon as your destination has been defined, the app displays all available gas stations with mobile payment options directly at the pump along your route. These are visible directly in the map view and make it easier to plan your fuel stop.
3. Call up details of the gas station
Once you have found an interesting gas station along your route, you can tap on it to go to the detailed view. Here you can find:
- Current fuel prices
- Opening hours
- Address and further information about the filling station
- The option to pay directly at the pump using the app
4. Start navigation to the gas station
From the detailed view, you can navigate directly to the selected gas station. Simply tap on the navigation option and follow the route there.
